Jason Andrade In the mid-nineties I played guitar for a little remembered Hardcore band called Painstake, in addition to handling vocal duties for a band called Perseverance from Denver and Pueblo CO., respectively. With these bands, I was fortunate enough to share the stage twice with the Mighty Bloodlet. While through acquaintances and happenstance Bloodlet was indirectly a part of my life, sharing friends and briefly a former drummer. While I never had an opportunity to get to know them better I did know the brilliance of their music. A fan from the first moment I heard the classic 7" records, I still remain a devout fan. This amazing live recording captures the genius this band possesses. Leaving no doubt that they are worthy of legend.
I look forward to their future endeavors as a result of their recent reformation.

about

Enjoy a rare live-on-air radio performance from BLOODLET captured live on WFMU.FM in 1995, before their landmark album 'Entheogen' was completed. Contains slightly different arrangements of their destined-to-be classic tracks, creative improvised interludes and an unreleased/unheard track entitled 'Canker'.
