xhrl_ Raw and pummelling hardcore doom that is but a tiny, wee snippet of what I'd like to hear from this band. But mine is surely a manly-doom-man oriented complaint: e.g., shouldn't all hardcore stoner doom be the duration of a Sleep track?! Somehow these cool tunes play rather like one track. Although this is described as hardcore punk, it is much more complex than that. Excellent ad hoc recording which I wish had more on it. Killer bass on the Succubus! Hope for more from Gray Ghost soon. Favorite track: Lascivious Nocturnus.

Scumbag Raw and chaotic recording! Not sure whether there was any songwriting in preparation for their studio time here or if it was improvised on the spot. It sounds like the latter, though I suspect it was done so with deliberation since it works so well! Best listened to as a whole rather than as individual tracks. Unruly fun stuff! Favorite track: Lascivious Shrines.

about

Featuring current members of Integrity, Atlanta GA's GRAY GHOST create a crushing wall of sound like no other.

Treading the path set on their last LP, their latest effort 'Succubus' is loaded with huge riffs and droning breaks all over the place .

Recommended if you enjoy bands like Neurosis, Isis and A Storm Of Light, but don't have the patience for long drawn out songs.
