Sekator Primitive Man does what they do best: write an atonal bleak soundtrack to the end of the world. After listening to their three tracks, you realize there is no hope for me, you and the rest of mankind.

Fister show up next and bludgeon you with a similar message, in case the first three tracks did not make it clear.

A minor classic of the impending apocalypse. Favorite track: Lifetime (Primitive Man).

xhrl_ So fantastic if you love brutally slow, feedback-filled, überheavy doom. O my God, this is a record that defines brutality on a sonic level. I am gushing like a fountain, but this blackened sludge by Fister & Primitive Man drags you a few miles over ice, puts some salt on you, & then proceeds to pull you over a gravel road to finish the LP. Yes, I know, it sounds too awesome to be true; but it is! Bonus pts for a subtly cool cover. Very highly recommended to serious sludge aficionados. Favorite track: Life Is Shit And Soon It Will Be Over (Fister).

CRO))) There is no ONE favorite track, this is a completely solid album, from both bands!

Matthew Elliot As I wrote for Hellbound.ca: Primitive Man and Fister take turns working over the listener with a slow motion back alley beat down on this merciless split 12" from A389. Hands down the most brutal record of 2014, regardless of format, size, subsubSUB-genre, etc. Favorite track: I Am Above You (Primitive Man).
