A powerful debut from one of California’s most incredible bands. Steeped in religious guilt and fury, Kristina’s incredible journey as King Woman begins here. Prepare yourself bc it only gets better after this release. MDS

Chokehold, a metallic hardcore band from Canada, with Beastie Boys touches. Their 2nd LP Content with Dying is easily their angriest and most passionate. This 1995 LP is impressively simplistic. Keeping a mid-tempo on the LP, they plod and chug along with some headbanging riffs, well shown on the opening track "Underneath". Not the most varied record, it's the same kind of chuggy riffs through the whole LP. Yet this LP remains one of the heaviest in the genre. Essential for any 90s hardcore fan! xhrl_
