In 2010 members of Pulling Teeth / Skin Like Iron collaborated with the idea of creating something that could sit between Burning Witch 'Towers...' and Ringworm 'The Promise'.

The songs were written in between shows and rehearsed during soundcheck on Pulling Teeth's 2010 west coast tour with 108, Skin Like Iron and Lewd Acts. I was doing double duty on guitar for PT and SLI on that tour, so the songs came together pretty painlessly...plus working with Alex and Blaine was a breeze.

Alex C would pop up again to do guest vocals on Pulling Teeth 'Funerary' album (The New Dark Ages) but a proper Virgin Witch LP would never materialize. Fun fact is that some of the intended VW riffs ended up on Funerary as well as Integrity's Howling LP. I didn't see Blaine again until almost a decade later when Integrity was playing a bridge in Austin.

Anyways, here are the original two songs...still pretty seething. Hope you enjoy.

Recorded after the tour ended in 2010 in Oakland CA at Atomic Garden Studio by Jack Shirley.
