Fixated on the serpents eye Crom's hand will guide you
Bring the devil into the light and show me what your'e made of
A galaxy devoid of light never-ending and hollow
The thieving bastards may prevail tonight but we will rule tomorrow
Stone deaf but still a threat the miser will find you
And take your soul down below and trade it for an ounce of gold
If you've got a soul that you ain't doing nothing with just follow my lead
On leather wings with serpents eyes on his throne sits the prince of lies
Sobering trip into the depths
A journey fraught with peril
His eyes see through to count the evil deeds you do
If they do not number three you're worth twice as much to the beast
If you've got a soul that you ain't doing nothing with just follow my lead
On leather wings with serpents eyes on his throne sits the prince of lies
The flac version of this sounds great in my truck... not a crunch, clip or boom to be heard. That, in itself, gets this major points.
This is a lovely combination of early Floyd, U2 and a few San Francisco bands from the '60s with a heavy dose of Helmet tossed in. It's definitely best of breed when it comes to modern psych stuff. Even without a Hammond B3, it gets an easy A+... rick-taylor
I can’t believe I’m just now finding this band. I lucked into finding them by reading an old interview with The Skull members Eric Wagner, Ron Holzner, and Jeff Olson (All three formerly of Trouble, too). They’ve been broken up for almost a decade now. Such a shame; they should have and still should be HUGE! The vocalist has some amazing pipes! If you listen to the first song and don’t buy it, it’s quite possible you have zero taste when it comes to heavy music. Jason Gilbert
The hard rock band recorded this session live at KXLU 88.9FM in Los Angeles and it's now exclusively available on Bandcamp. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 27, 2020
For some reason, what I previewed and the real songs was somewhat different - maybe because of the cover art?
But I definitely don't regret something more spacial than expected. The recent Ocean drifting in space. frankwurst
